Islamophobia is an awkward term which leads to misunderstandings and causes unnecessary divisions in society. Muslimophobia would be a legitimate term. Islamophobia is not. (See the video below. I share this not because I agree with everything either man says; I share it because it contains a number of astute observations about the definition of the word and the problems it causes.)
You don’t have to deny that an evil ideology or belief is evil in order to love an adherent of the ideology or belief.
