Biblical Universalism?

Whether or not the Bible teaches that all will eventually come to faith in Christ, is an important debate within the Church. The outcome of this debate will determine the future of the Church and western civilisation.

Christians who ignore this issue will not be able to ignore it for long. It is not going away anytime soon.1

1. Gregory of Nyssa clearly believed that eventually all people would turn to Christ (either in this life or the next). So why was Origen condemned but Gregory was not? Perhaps it’s time for the Church to revisit this issue (see The Inescapable Love of God by Thomas Talbott, Until the Last One’s Found by Curt Parton,  Alvin Kimel article about Origen and the fifth ecumenical council, and George MacDonald’s sermon “Justice”).
